Food Suppliers at Currarevagh
Many guests have an interest in who our suppliers are. What Connemara and Galway has to offer has changed hugely in the last 10 years. Recently Galway has become something of a food ‘hot spot’, but this was certainly not the case historically. It has been primarily supplier led, lots of small, extremely hard working artisans for some reason deciding to give it a go. We are small, and most of them are small, so its not always easy to arrange and takes a lot of time and planning. It would be much easier to just buy everything from the couple of large multiples through their catalogues.. but then we wouldn’t be in this business.
