Currarevagh Guesthouse prides itself

in its delicious food. Mindful of its Irish roots and a history
steeped in providing hospitality to guests over hundreds of
years, we provide a food experience you will not find elsewhere.
With a cuisine based on fresh, local produce, Currarevagh
Guesthouse has gained many accolades in the better known hotel
and food guides, as well as the international press.
Breakfast is a lavish affair true to its Edwardian roots. Each
morning this feast is laid out on the dining room side board,
with freshly squeezed juice, Full Irish Breakfast including
locally produced sausages, pudding and bacon; honey roast ham
and selection of cheeses; our daily baked soda bread, croissants
and crust-less toast, home made marmalades and muselies are
specialities. Everything you can wish for to keep you going
for the day.
Afternoon Tea is a well known ritual enjoyed by many. Served
in the drawing room a selection of teas are available, along
with our own fruitcakes, sponge cakes and seasonal specialities.
Cucumber sandwiches, hot drop pancakes, and scones of many varieties
all feature. Afternoon Tea from 4.30pm to 6.00pm is not to be
missed and only for residents.
Each evening a five course dinner is served. Our focus is on
classically simple menus based on fresh, local produce. The
menu changes daily to reflect the seasons and what is available;
main courses are silver-served by our ever-friendly staff so
you may take how much you want!
Currarevagh Guesthouse is fully licensed to sell wines, spirits
and beers to residents. Our unique hatch bar provides for guests
a well selected wine list, vintage ports, many varieties of
whiskeys and a full array of spirits. Cocktails can be prepared
on request.
